The Saudi Power Transformers Company Ltd. (SPTC) is a leading power transformer manufacturer in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Founded in 2010 as a joint venture between Saudi Transformers Co. Ltd. (51%) and CG Power Systems-Belgium (49%), SPTC operates under a licensing agreement with CG Power Systems, using Pauwels technology. Today, over 600 Pauwels power transformers are operational across Saudi Arabia, with capacities reaching up to 500 MVA. SPTC’s facility in Saudi Arabia expands CG Power Systems’ global network, which includes manufacturing sites in seven other countries.
